The School of Engineering and Applied Science

Since its founding in 1862, Greystone University’s School of Engineering has been a pioneer in educating exceptional engineers and innovators. Our programs are driven by cutting-edge technology, research, and a commitment to addressing society’s most complex challenges.

Under the visionary leadership of Dean Eleanor Carter, the School has achieved remarkable growth. Dean Carter’s strategic plan focuses on three pillars: world-class facilities, recruiting top faculty talent, and enhancing equity through financial aid. Additionally, our Three Signature Initiatives—Engineering Health, Data Science and AI, and Renewable Energy Solutions—position us to transform the future of education and research.

Named Undergraduate Scholarships

Our scholarship program ensures access to a world-class education, regardless of a student’s financial circumstances. By eliminating barriers, we empower the next generation of engineers to lead, innovate, and make an impact.

Donors receive annual updates from their scholarship recipients, providing a personal view of the transformative impact of their gift.

Receiving this scholarship has been a game-changer for me. It opened the door to attending this university, something I never thought was possible. With this support, I’ve been able to fully immerse myself in my studies, learn from inspiring professors, and push myself to innovate. It’s more than just an education — it’s about growing, discovering my potential, and preparing to make a meaningful impact in the world."

Research Innovation Fund

Declining public funding for research highlights the critical need for private support. Research Innovation Funds enable early-stage, high-risk, high-reward projects to thrive. These funds support pioneering work in areas like healthcare technology, data security, and renewable energy, bridging the gap to large-scale funding.

A term gift of $250,000 or more establishes a Research Innovation Fund, helping propel groundbreaking discoveries with broad societal impact.
